EatFinder makes it easy to find restaurants, cafes, and food places in your area. Learn how to use our search features to discover exactly what you're looking for.
Basic Search
To perform a basic search:
- Use the search bar at the top of any page
- Enter a business name, cuisine type, or food category (e.g., "pizza", "coffee", "Italian")
- Add a location if you want to search in a specific area
- Press Enter or click the search button
Search results will show you matching listings with ratings, addresses, and quick info at a glance.
Using Filters
Refine your search results with filters:
- Category — Filter by food type (Pizza, Coffee, BBQ, etc.)
- Distance — Show results within a certain radius
- Amenities — Filter by features like outdoor seating, delivery, or Wi-Fi
Filters help you narrow down results to find exactly what matches your preferences.
Near Me (25 mi)
The "Near Me" feature finds food places within 25 miles of your current location:
- Click on a category from the homepage (Coffee, Pizza, BBQ, etc.)
- Allow location access when prompted by your browser
- EatFinder will automatically show results near your location
Privacy note: Your location is only used to show nearby results and is never stored on our servers. You can deny location access and manually enter a city instead.
Understanding Results
Each search result shows key information:
- Business name — Click to view the full listing page
- Star rating — Average rating from customer reviews
- Address — Location of the business
- Categories — Types of food or cuisine offered
- Featured badge — Highlighted listings from premium members
Click on any listing to see full details including hours, menu, photos, and reviews.
